Dr. B. Krishna Murthy is an internationally recognized artist, educator, and mentor from Mahabubabad, Telangana, India. With a lifelong passion for painting and creative expression, he has dedicated more than three decades to promoting art, inspiring young artists, and preserving cultural values through his work.
Beginning his artistic journey at an early age, Dr. Murthy successfully completed the Drawing Lower Grade and Higher Grade examinations, laying the foundation for a remarkable artistic career.
Alongside his artistic achievements, he pursued higher education in English Literature, B.Ed., and M.Ed., eventually serving as a Government Teacher while continuing his passion for visual arts.
His artwork, created primarily with acrylic and oil mediums, beautifully reflects social awareness, human emotions, spirituality, and India's rich cultural heritage.
Today, with more than 545 original theme-based paintings, Dr. B. Krishna Murthy continues to inspire audiences across India and around the world through his creativity, dedication, and commitment to excellence.

Since 1995, he has been creating meaningful theme-based paintings using acrylic and oil mediums. His artworks reflect social awareness, cultural heritage, spirituality, and the beauty of everyday life.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he transformed challenges into opportunities by producing over 135 original paintings and innovative Teaching Learning Materials, continuing to promote art through digital platforms.
By the end of 2025, Dr. B. Krishna Murthy had created more than 545 original theme-based paintings, earning numerous prestigious national and international awards, honorary recognitions, and world record achievements.
